Ms. Adams

Hello family and friends! My name is Alicia Adams, and this will be my fourth-year teaching and second year in third grade. I was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina but I have lived in GA since late middle school. I graduated from Gwinnett County and made my way down south where I attended Georgia Southwestern State University for my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education! I also earned my master's degree from the same University during my first year of teaching. In my spare time, I love shopping, trying new restaurants, spending time with family & friends and loving-on my dog Milo! I am looking forward to another great year at The Creek! 

Mrs. Carson

Hello! My name is Daniela Carson (formerly Kloes). This is my fourth year teaching third grade at Wilson Creek Elementary. I am originally from the northwest suburbs of Chicago and I moved to Georgia in 2021. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy reading books, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. It is going to be a great year in third grade!

Mrs. Giddens

Hello! My name is Lauren Giddens. This is my fifth-year teaching at Wilson Creek. This is my 16th year of teaching and most years I have been in 2nd grade. I attended Georgia Southern for both my Bachelors (Early Childhood Education) and Masters (Curriculum and Instruction) degrees. Go Eagles! 

My husband, Josh, and I have two girls. Sophia is in 2^nd grade at WCES and Ellie was born in April 2023. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cooking. I am looking forward to working with you as a team to help your child succeed in 3rd grade! 

Ms. Homsy

Hello! My name is Gabby Homsy. This is my sixth year at Wilson Creek and my fifth year teaching 3^rd grade! I attended the University of North Georgia and graduated in 2019 with a degree in Early and Special Education and a reading endorsement. I also completed my Master’s degree in Education in 2022 from Walden University! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, baking, reading, traveling, and walking my dog, Zeke! I am excited for a great year in 3^rd grade!

Mrs. Ortiz

Hello! My name is Elizabeth Ortiz and I am excited to join the Wilson Creek community this year.  I graduated from the University of Georgia with my bachelor's and master's degree in Elementary Education. This is my fourth year of teaching and I have enjoyed working with the amazing staff and students. It’s going to be a great year in third grade!

Ms. Simon

Hello! My name is Parker Simon. This is my 4th year at Wilson Creek and my 4th year in 3^rd grade! I attended Georgia College and State University for my undergraduate degree and graduated in 2020. I then obtained my Master’s degree at the University of Georgia and graduated in 2021. Go Dawgs! In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and being outside. I enjoy reading, exercising and watching sports!

Ms. Zbikowski

Hello! My name is Kristin Zbikowski. This is my first year teaching at Wilson Creek but my 10^th year teaching. I taught kindergarten for 7 years and 2^nd grade for 2 years. This is my first year in 3^rd grade and I am so excited! I attended Kennesaw State University (Go Owls!) for both my bachelor and masters degrees in Early Childhood Education. I also have my reading and gifted endorsements. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy reading, crafting, going to Braves games and concerts, cooking, taking care of my plants, and spending time with friends and family. I’m looking forward to a great year!

Ms. Polaski

Hi Wildcats! My name is Emily Polaski and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I love teaching and I will create a classroom community where students know they are important, they are loved and where they can be their best. In my free time, I enjoy walking, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I am looking forward to a wonderful year together!
