Ms. Forney

Hi, my name is Elaina Forney. I am originally from Bradenton, Florida on the Gulf Coast. I earned both my Bachelor of Education and Master of Education from the University of Florida. I have been a teacher in Fulton County for 22 years. This is my 18th year at Wilson Creek. In addition to being a teacher, I serve on the School Governance Council for Wilson Creek and am one of the sponsors of the Wildcat Running Club. I have three children-all of whom attended or do attend Wilson Creek, River Trail, Johns Creek High School, and Northview High School. We live, work, worship, and play in the community and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Expect to see me at Publix, Target, or Ocee Park (please say hi!).

In my free time I enjoy gardening, walking, and watching my son play baseball. Our family LOVES to travel to Nation Parks and the beach! I love children’s picture books and am passionate about public schools!

Mrs. Wedding

Hi! I’m Mrs. Wedding. This is my 28th year of teaching, and fifth year at Wilson Creek! I am originally from a small town in Oklahoma – Boomer Sooner! I earned both my Bachelor of Education and master’s in education from the University of Central Oklahoma.

I have taught in Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Georgia. Most of my career has been spent working in the primary grades (1st-3rd). I worked in Wisconsin for 16 years with the last few years as Literacy Coach. During this time, I worked with all grades K-5 coaching teachers in the areas of reading and writing as well as providing reading intervention for students in grades 1-4. I’m very excited to return this year to Wilson Creek and continue working with 2nd graders.

In my free time I enjoy golfing, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. Oh! How could I forget! I love to read!
