Ms. Adeimy

My name is Christin Adeimy, and I'm excited to be your child’s teacher this year! I was born and raised in Germany, where my family still lives. I moved to the United States in 2011, and I have three children ages 7, 10, and 13. I obtained my master's degree in education from Grand Canyon University, and this will be my eighth year in the classroom. Previously, I taught Kindergarten and 3rd grade at a language immersion school. I love cats, the mountains, and learning new things! In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, watching movies, and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to a year full of fun and learning! 

Ms. Anderson

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Doering, and I am a 4^th grade math, science and social studies teacher. I am originally from south Florida and graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Go Noles! This is my sixth year at Wilson Creek. I have taught 3rd grade for four years and this is my third-year teaching fourth.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking, and spending time with family, friends and my dog Seven! I’m looking forward to helping your students learn and grow this year! 

Mrs. Balkcom

Hello! My name is Savanah Balkcom, and I’m thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year.

As a proud military brat, I spent much of my childhood moving from place to place, but I’ve called Georgia home since 2017. Earlier that year, I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Troy University. My passion for learning led me to pursue further education, and in 2023, I completed my master’s degree in Elementary Reading and Math from Walden University. I also became certified to teach middle grades mathematics in 2022 and earned my ESOL endorsement in 2025.

Since beginning my teaching career in 2017, I’ve had the joy of teaching third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade math. I’m committed to lifelong learning and strive to grow both personally and professionally.

On a personal note, I married my wonderful husband Jamie in the fall of 2021, and we welcomed our daughter, Myla, in the spring of 2023. Our family also includes two lovable dogs, Pepper and Bogey. On weekends, I enjoy traveling to visit my favorite places and people, as well as reading, hiking, cooking, and spending quality time with family.

My goal is to create a classroom environment where every child feels valued, trusted, and part of a supportive learning community. I’m so excited to partner with you and help your child thrive this year!

Ms. Dolin

Hello Friends!  My name is Mrs. Joan Dolin.  I welcome your child into our classroom this year! I am a 4^th and 5^th grade reading and writing teacher. This is my 4th year teaching at our wonderful school.  I have taught all grades K-12^th grade during my teaching career.  I grew up in the Hudson Valley of New York but have lived in Georgia since 1996. My husband and I live on a small farm and love our garden and chickens.  I have one son who just retired as a United States Marine and is currently finishing his college degree in International Communications.  I enjoy family time, farming, gardening, hiking, walking, reading, Atlanta United Soccer and Yankees Baseball.  I love being a teacher and can’t wait to learn and grow together! It’s going to be an awesome and fun year in 4^th grade! Get ready for awesome adventures!

Mr. Smiley

Greetings all!!  I am excited to become a part of the Wildcat family.  Coming from a military family I’ve moved around quite a bit.  I’ve been in Atlanta longer than I’ve been anywhere else, so Atlanta is home.  I attended and obtained my degree and certification from Georgia Southwestern State University and have been educating children for the last 22 years.  I’m very eager to become an asset to the fantastic fifth grade team, and I’m ready to guide our fifth graders on an educational journey they will never forget.

Mrs. Haubenstock

Hello! My name is Heather Haubenstock (formerly Marcus). This is my ninth year at Wilson Creek Elementary. I have spent all nine years in 3^rd grade!! I attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 2016. Go Dawgs! I graduated with a combined Bachelor/Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. I have Endorsement Certificates in Reading, ESOL, and Gifted. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors. I enjoy exercising, reading, and cooking. I am so excited for this year in 3^rd grade!
