Ms. Baughman

My name is Amanda Baughman, and this is my 25th year of teaching. I earned a BSEd in Elementary Education and a MEd in Children's Literature from the University of Georgia. I am passionate about teaching and sharing my love of literature with students! I've been married for 28 years to my high school sweetheart, and we have three grown children. In my free time, I write books for kids. So far, I've written three novels, and I'm currently searching for a literary agent to help me get them published. I enjoy spending time with my family, playing board games, watching TV, and playing with my dog, Clark.

Nathan is a senior at the University of Alabama, Ella is a freshman at Alabama, and Max is in 9th grade at Saint Francis High School. This will be my 25th year teaching.

Ms. Pritchett

Hi there! My name is Rachel Pritchett and this is my first year at Wilson Creek. I previously taught K-12 for five years in South Korea and one year in Japan, and most recently did math intervention in Virginia. I absolutely love fifth grade and was so excited to be placed here as a fifth-grade teacher.

This past summer, I moved from Virginia to Georgia in order to be closer to my family in Florida while still being close to the Georgia mountains! I went to Florida State University where I did my undergrad in psychology and my master’s in education.

You can catch me on the weekends hiking, studying languages at a café, or exploring new parks with friends.
